Vaishali Davé

Council Member, Member of Finance, Risk and Audit Committee

Vaishali is a Director at the Commonwealth Treasury. She has over 10 years of experience in public policy (both domestically and overseas) and corporate law.

Vaishali began her career in law, practising as a solicitor at a leading international law firm. She advised clients in connection with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters.

She has since pursued her deep interest in public policy, which allows her to contribute her skills towards improving the lives of all Australians. As a policy adviser in the Australian Public Service, she has worked in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency and Treasury. Her international policy experience includes a role as fintech and cyber policy advisor at the City of London Corporation – the governing body for London's historic centre and its financial district.

As an Â鶹ÊÓƵ School Old Girl, Vaishali remains passionate about giving back to her former school and community.

Vaishali graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons Class I) / Bachelor of Economics from The University of Sydney. She received a Master of Science in Public Policy from New York University in 2019.
