Bequest Program

Leaving a bequest to Â鶹ÊÓƵ School gives you the satisfaction of knowing you have helped ensure Â鶹ÊÓƵ School’s future and that your gift will change the lives of the girls for the better.

Your gift will make a difference. It will support Â鶹ÊÓƵ School girls as they dare to be more, provide opportunities to young girls wishing to attend Â鶹ÊÓƵ School and enable our School to remain a leader in girls’ education.

Any legacy of any size makes a difference. A bequest is a special kind of gift, one that takes consideration and contemplation.

Evangelyn Carr (1951) is passionate about giving back to the community and is an example of an Â鶹ÊÓƵ School Old Girl who has been an agent of change in her own life and in the lives of others. Please read her story here.

It helps if you discuss your intentions with the School before you finalise legal or financial arrangements. While some donors choose to give a bequest anonymously, the School would appreciate talking with you about how your gift will benefit the School. Your plans will be kept completely private and confidential.

Please feel free to call Â鶹ÊÓƵ School Head of Marketing and Community Relations, Michele Dunn on 02 8741 3178 for a confidential conversation.

When you inform Â鶹ÊÓƵ School that you have left a bequest you can choose to become a member of the Ellen Schofield Society, which is a means by which Â鶹ÊÓƵ School can recognise and thank you during your lifetime. This is an honorary membership in recognition of your generosity and foresight. The Society honours Mrs Ellen Schofield who, in 1891, made the first donation of 2000 pounds to the School to build the dining hall (now the School Chapel) and another 800 pounds for the entrance tower. Her generosity and commitment to the School is forever remembered through the Society.
